After Christmas, Rupert returned tired to the land of the dwarves. He was carrying a large miracle bulb in his hand. "Plant it, take care of it," said the old man, "when I lie in a dream, our new candy tree will grow happily!"

The children's book author Albert Sixtus (1892 - 1960), who also invented the well-known Bunny School, tells in catchy verses about where the school cones come from.

The colorful illustrations by Richard Heinrich add additional cheerfulness to the events.
