The fairy tale character of the hedgehog appeared as early as the 19th century... little by little, films (Diehl), stories and postcards were created... the hedgehog figures became popular as mascots for the magazine Hörzu.... the now nostalgic postcards with motifs based on the Diehl film and always a nice saying are enjoyed by young and old!

The Diehl brothers, pioneers of puppet animation, captured a story on celluloid in their studios in 1936/37... a mixture of subtle humor and an obsession with detail in figures, decorations and costumes.
