The tradition of the elf door comes from the north... throughout the year, but especially during the Advent season, a little elf moves into the house and lives behind an elf door above the baseboard. He helps with the preparations for the holidays and occasionally plays pranks. The little elf is nocturnal and only comes out of his hiding place when everyone is asleep. The elf door must never be opened! Because if someone sees the elf, he loses his magic. He usually communicates with the children through letters that he puts in the mailbox next to his door.

... but sometimes the elf feels like baking, for example, and creates a mess of flour and other baking ingredients in front of his door at night.

A little tip: The elf can also secretly take care of the advent calendar and provide a daily surprise in December.
